Belmark inc Expands 23,000 Square Feet
Belmark inc, a perennial award-winning converter of pressure sensitive labels, printed flexible packaging, and folding cartons is expanding.
As one of the largest and fastest growing flexographic converters in the industry, Belmark's facilities are receiving a facelift and addition as we continue our innovative growth.
Established in 1977, Belmark took up residence at 600 Heritage Road, De Pere, Wisconsin in January of 1984. Plant #1 houses Belmark's pressure sensitive business and main offices. With the addition of 23,000 square feet, Belmark's Plant #1 will grow to 114,000 square feet. The new addition and all remodeling will be complete by Spring 2005.
Previously, Belmark expanded in 2000 with the addition of Plant #2 - Folding Cartons and again in 2001 with the addition of Plant #3 - Flexible Packaging.
Throughout our thirty years of growth Belmark has expanded through product lines, plants and employees. Belmark is continuing to build through employee growth as we continue to look for innovative ways to grow with and lead the flexographic printing industry.

Belmark inc, in the East De Pere Industrial Park, is in its third building expansion in the past four years. The company is constructing another 12,000 square feet, which raises it total square footage to 146,935 at three plants.
Bruce Bell, Chairman and Founder, said, the project will require the hiring of another 20 to 30 employees in the next year to properly staff the new operation and the rest of the company. Work is expected to be completed by the end of December.
Belmark is a leader in the flexographic printing business. The addition will allow the company to add to its film packaging operation.
Bell said the company "is a leader in its industry with five best-managed company awards in the past seven years. We are bucking trends in the industry with a 15%+ compounded annual growth over the past 10 years."
The company is divided into three business units consisting of pressure sensitive labels, flexible film and folding cartons.
With more than 300 employees, the company operates primarily in the Midwest with additional sales on a select national basis.
Belmark is celebrating its 25th year in business. Bell said the company is "always looking for good people" and credits the growth over the history of the company to its good customer base and employees with a creative strong work ethic."

Belmark inc, De Pere, Wisconsin, is celebrating 25 years in business. Since 1977, Belmark has been providing customers "Label Solutions to Business Problems."
Twenty-five years ago, Bruce Bell, founded Belmark with just three employees: Bell, a press operator and an accountant. Belmark's beginning was shaky when their one and only five-color press was not delivered on schedule. Working with one press and no customers, Belmark soon found their advantage in the market; when the orders started rolling, Belmark produced a quality product and delivered it to the customer fast.
Belmark's success is related to living their slogan, "Label Solutions to Business Problems® ." According to President Bruce Bell, "this company was built around the idea of helping our customers solve their business problems as a result of their relationship with Belmark." The company does this by providing customers speed to market, service development, product development, and quality.
Since the first order, Belmark has enjoyed positive sales growth throughout their 25 years. The company's continued success is driven through the hard work of dedicated employees and the entrepreneurial spirit upon which Bruce Bell founded the company.
Belmark inc Wins Prestigious Industry Award
Belmark inc was awarded the prestigious TLMI (Tag and Label Manufacturer's Institute) Eugene Singer Award for "Best Managed Company" for a record sixth time (1996-1999, 2001, 2003). The award recognizes excellence in business management, measured by defined business ratios calculated through the TLMI Management Ratio Study. Belmark won the award in the large company category.
The TLMI Management Ratio Study was established in 1973 by Eugene Singer. Calculations incorporate profitability, liquidity, growth, efficiency, and capital structure. The award is given annually to the best managed company in its category.
Belmark Chairman/Founder, Bruce Bell, accepted the award on behalf of all company employees. Bell said, "When we are recognized among our peers for doing a good job, it is especially significant and I consider the Eugene Singer Award to be the ultimate honor. I can only thank our employees and customers for making this happen."
