Belmark Family,

As we continue to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic within our nation, state and community, the Task Force would like to inform you of an important change in our communication to our Belmark Family.

First and foremost, safety of our workforce remains of utmost importance.  We know we ultimately will continue to have positive cases as our communities are still impacted by active cases.  We take pride in the way in which we have communicated our response to COVID-19 to you so far, and will continue to be guided by our Belmark Principle of open and straight communication.  Please review the update below regarding future communication of COVID-19 cases.

Communication Changes of Positive COVID-19 Cases – Effective Monday, September 14, 2020

  • Employees who work in the surrounding area (shift/equipment/etc) of an employee who tests positive will be notified immediately.  Our response and sanitization procedures will remain unchanged in this manner.  Details of these procedures can be found here.
  • The general communication of positive employee cases will be sent weekly from the Task Force and will include all cases from the week as well as an update on recovered cases.

Belmark’s procedures for sanitation, testing and quarantining have all proven to mitigate spread within Belmark, and we remain confident they will continue to do so.  The simplification of positive case communication will reduce the number of notifications sent, resulting in you receiving the most important information in a concise and timely manner.

Providing clarity around the pandemic is important to us – please do not hesitate to reach out to anyone on the Task Force with any questions or concerns.
