Later today the attached communication will be sent out regarding changes to our vacation rollover and payout policies.  I wanted to give you a heads up prior so you can become familiar with the changes, as I am sure there will be questions.

Using the grid below – we will adjust our rollover and payout.  Since we retroed our current 1 week payout policy back to 3/23, that is our anchor date for changes.  Since the payout is tied to anniversary date, this will allow each anniversary date to have had an option for 1 week payout, and each anniversary date to have an option for the 2 week payout.  We also are giving an abundance of notice with the intent that employees will have sufficient time to plan to use up their time if that is their wish.

03/23/2020 – 03/22/2021 Unlimited 1 Week Max
03/23/2021 – 03/22/2022 Unlimited 2 Week Max
Effective 3/23/2022 1 Week Max None

If an employee would opt for the payout they will need to communicate that you to request through Payroll.  If you are unsure of balances, you can direct questions to Payroll.
