Employees in our production facilities assist in day-to-day operations by supporting our press operators and ensuring smooth workflow of jobs throughout the day. Positions will be filled based on business needs.

Current Shifts Available:

  • 12hr Rotating: 3pm-3am, 3am-3pm. Work 3 days, 1 day off, work 3 days, 7 days off (Employees work 36hrs but are paid for 40hrs)
  • 2nd Shift: 2pm – Midnight, Monday – Thursday
  • 3rd Shift: 10pm – 6am, Sunday – Thursday
  • Shift differential for 3rd shift is $2.00 and 2A/2B or 2C/2D is $1.00 more per hour

Web Offset Press Operator-Folding Cartons (2nd & 3rd Shifts) - De Pere, WI

Position Overview

  • Responsible for operating the press section of a web offset machine which is in line with a rewinder for roll products and in line with a die cutter for paperboard products.
  • Work together with other operators and support staff to produce quality product.
  • Set and adjust die cut controls, monitor die cutter and perform changeover tasks.
  • Maintain quality, productivity and waste according to set standards.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Position Requirements

  • Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school.
  • At least one (1) year experience setting up and operating a multicolor offset press.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to utilize the English language fluently. 
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple written oral instructions.
  • Ability to meet or exceed deadlines.  May be required to work some overtime and/or work flexible hours.

Plate Mounter - Flexible Packaging (1A Shift) - De Pere, WI

Position Overview

  • Responsible for accurately mounting plates onto cylinders, washing plates and filing them according to job number.
  • Ensure all plates for a job are mounted in a timely manner, according to the schedule, to keep presses running at all times.
  • Wash plates from completed jobs.
  • Peel sticky back off of cylinders.
  • Fill alcohol, acetate and soap bottles.

Shipping Technician - Pressure Sensitive (1st Shift) - De Pere, WI

  • Responsible for packaging, labeling and staging printed products in a timely manner in order to meet customer needs.  Must be able to multi-task, have a high level of attention to detail and work in a fast paced environment.
  • Work in a team environment and communicate effectively with Customer Service and Rewind Departments to meet daily shipment deadlines.
  • Work with third party logistic software systems to determine the best and most economical shipping method to meet customer needs.
  • Provide accurate job order data entry and use Federal Express/UPS software systems.
  • Use an automated stretch wrap machine.

Finishing Positions - Flexible Packaging (PM Shift) - Shawano, WI

Position Overview

  • Responsible to ensure quality during runs, make machine adjustments when needed and stage materials. Attention to detail, flexibility, problem solving skills and teamwork are a must.  You will be responsible to cover all the responsibilities associated with performing quality assurance testing, data collection and administrative functions. Also, rewind flexible packaging film from press rolls to smaller rolls according to customer specifications. Inspect printed film for accepted quality and complete the appropriate paperwork. May also be required to help in other departments.

Position Requirements

  • Requires education equivalent to two (2) years of high school.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.

Web-to-Print Finishing Operator (2nd Shift) - De Pere, WI

Do you enjoy working in the cross media and packaging industry?  Does accepting daily challenges and exceeding goals resonate with you?  Belmark is seeking a Web-to-Print Finishing Operator on 2nd shift.  This position is responsible for all associated equipment and process implemented in the Finishing Department in Web-to-Print®. This includes all functions of the Digicon Finishing Platforms as well as Delta In Line/Out of Line Finishing. Overtime and flexible hours will be required. Expected to operate the machines at the highest efficiency possible while following standard operating procedures and work instructions to produce high quality product.  The work schedule hours are 2:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m., (midnight) Monday – Thursday.

  • Responsible for complying with and following all standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Web and clean the finishing units.
  • Understand and properly utilize computer based hardware and software associated.
  • Will have job duties specific to our Hazardous Waste Management Program for the proper disposal of spent solvents, waste inks and other designated waste products.  Some of the responsibilities include the placement of waste solvents/inks in designated waste drums, labeling of waste drums and moving waste drums to designated storage locations.
  • May cross train in other areas of Web-to-Print.

Position Overview

  • Performs daily equipment and building maintenance to ensure proper functioning and operation while adhering to agreed upon standards, processes and systems.
  • Correct occurring mechanical electrical problems.
  • Responsible for the appearance of the maintenance shop, compressor rooms, electrical rooms and maintenance work sites.

Position Overview

  • Must meet or exceed sales plan (new targets and new accounts) for a plan territory and grow business by at least the current company standard.
  • Lead a team of internal support to meet both Belmark’s and the customers’ needs.
  • Represent Belmark in a fair and ethical manner while promoting the Belmark Mission Statement, Purpose and Principles.
  • Fulfill all sales tasks including gathering and processing information so jobs and projects can be processed accordingly.
  • Travel extensively for prospecting purposes and customer visits.

 Position Requirements

  • Requires education as is generally acquired in four (4) years of college with a degree in business, or three (3) years of sales experience; or three (3) years business or military experience.
  • Knowledge of an ability to utilize the English language effectively is required.
  • Extensive travel, including overnight travel required.

Position Overveiw

  • Develop/improve standard practices in the finishing department. 
  • Assist in waste reduction projects in the finishing department.
  • Assist in development and documentation of production procedures.
  • Assist with the resolution of quality issues.
  • Communicate project status and final results with appropriate functions.
  • Longer term special projects to be defined by the Lamination Manager.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Position Requirements

  • Student enrolled full time at an accredited university pursuing a quality related career. Some applicable majors may include Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management, MS – Management Technology, Packaging.

May also provide technical support to sales, production and internal support groups as needed.  With a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, our coordinators are able to work in a friendly environment with a potential to grow with the company.  Work hours are from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday.

  • Responsible for designing the folded carton, which includes: identifying materials, carton dimensions, number of colors (line and process), die specifications, etc., and routing to appropriate departments.
  • Lead sales and customers in defining end-use requirements.
  • Prepare carton and mock-ups for customer evaluation.
  • Set up die layouts for graphics/production and die manufacturing.
  • Perform competitive analyses to recommend best materials that meet customer requirements.
  • Establish best manufacturing processes to most efficiently use internal capabilities to meet customer requirements.
  • Create, revise and manage material/converting specifications and test methods.

Position Requirements

  • Knowledge of and the ability to speak the English language fluently.
  • Must have the ability to quickly learn and apply new information regarding materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to operate a computer with a proficiency in package design software (Artios CAD), word processing software (Microsoft Word) and spreadsheet software (Excel). Ability to operate a MAC computer with a proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Illustrator).
  • Requires education as is generally acquired in two (2) years of technical school with a design degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to: see clearly at 20 inches or 20 feet or more; ability to identify and distinguish colors; ability to observe all that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while the eyes are fixed on a given point; and the ability to adjust the eye and bring an object into sharp focus.

SUMMARY

The Account Service Intern position supports the mission and principles of Belmark by assisting all areas of the Customer Service department. This includes, but is not limited to, order entry, label entry, graphics initiation, expediting orders, status checks and change orders. This educational role benefits the company by increasing productivity, enhancing perspective, building community relations and supporting the learning of surrounding area students.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Supports the Customer Service team.
  2. Identifies and solves basic problems based on clear and fundamental factors.
  3. Learns the Label Order entry process.
  4. Learns Belmark’s printing capabilities.
  5. Attends process improvement meetings with regional teams or regional managers.
  6. Develops and documents the training process for future interns.
  7. Learn the role, master the role and improve the role prior to the completion of your internship.
  8. Progress to a point of making contributions to the organization that would be comparable to those of a full time customer service representative.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  1. Student enrolled full time at an accredited university pursuing a bachelor or associated degree. Some applicable majors may include Communication, Business Management or Project Management.
  2. Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
